BROOMFIELD GIVES MONTH

PREVIOUS GRANT RECIPIENTS AND MORE INFO

Community-created and Broomfield-focused, our mission is simple: we seek to improve the quality of life for all Broomfield residents. The Broomfield Community Foundation is the leading source of community investment and improvement locally.

While you might not see it in your everyday life, Broomfield is not immune to today's challenges. Our local food pantries and the city's Meals on Wheels program are working nonstop to feed many of our neighbors; local children are in desperate need of medical support and school supplies; job loss and persistent struggle has created a pressing need for mental health services and income aligned housing; and the list goes on.

As your community foundation, we achieve a multiplier effect by working collaboratively with community leaders, donors and nonprofits to address immediate and emerging issues that impact us all. The distribution of grants from all of our many funds, including our newly created Workforce Champion and Youth Opportunities Fund, as well as our long-time Special Needs Fund for short-term emergencies have become a crucial ongoing resource for our residents.

-Help Us Power a Better Broomfield-

Dear Community Member,

Thanks to you, lives have been transformed in Broomfield. From ensuring safe homes to nourishing families, your support has been the spark for real change!

This November, you have the chance to make an even greater difference. Thanks to our generous 2024 Broomfield Gives Month Matching Partners, your impact is being multiplied to $2.50 for every $1 you donate! That’s right—your gift will have more than double the impact on vital local services like affordable housing, mental health care, and nutritious food for neighbors in need. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to more than double your impact—act today!

Your support makes a difference:

  • Grantmaking: Our grantmaking grew by 33% this year, providing $537,000 to 56 local nonprofits that helped thousands of residents across essential services, seniors, and education, while also supporting arts and civic programs that enrich our community.
  • Emergency Assistance: A $20,000 emergency grant helped provide safe overnight parking and resources for families experiencing homelessness right here in Broomfield.
  • Scholarships: We facilitated $45,500 in academic scholarships and over $20,000 in youth opportunity scholarships, empowering middle and high school students with personal development, diversity, and inclusion programming.
